Universal Basic Income / Freedom Dividend can help people afford better meals and or not be limited to what they can afford simply cause they are check to check to the point that they can't afford decently healthy meals. With the Universal Basic Income / Freedom Dividend the cost of groceries and restauraunt food simply will not go up. If they do it will not be for the long term simply because they will simply go somewhere else which can affect businesses even with some bad PR.
